Hello World!

Welcome to Misfit Living.

This is my introduction to you for living simply, differently, rebelliously, creatively, and empowered.

Misfit Living is overcoming adversity to find the inner you and becoming who you were meant to be despite what society defines.

Misfits are simple, real, and we have opinions, hopes, and dreams not molded in a Perfect Society.

Every month I’ll be bringing you tips, tricks, and information on living that helps you find the perfect inner you through a fish eye lens. Sometimes breaking down social norms and common sense leads us to ask WHY? and break into new boundaries. Those boundaries confine, and mold Misfits into being a perfect we can never become. We are not model skinny, perfect complexion, social buttercups, or powerful elite. We are simple, real and we have opinions, hopes, and dreams that are not molded in a Perfect Society.

Let’s gather around and ask those questions that defy commonalities and truly make us unique. Yes sure we are all the same in fact that we breathe, eat, sleep, and think, but understanding and embracing our uniqueness is walking down the path to “Misfit Living”.

We are unified but diverse

and…

We empower each other.

Women who conceptualize Misfit Living understand that we are unified but diverse. We have no reason to criticize, bully, or belittle other women. We embrace, enlighten,, elevate, and support other women because there is a place in this world for each and every one of us. We learn from each other. We grow to understand each other. We learn to love each other. We empower each other.

Come with me – take my hand, I’ll hold you up if you help hold me up, and together we’ll rise above and become Misfits enjoying Misfit Living. We’ll start out alone, but it only takes one violin to set the symphony playing and oh what beautiful music we’ll make.

See you soon.

I'm a mom, blogger, woodworker, and craft nut. I left the big city to live simpler, uniquely, and to be rebelliously creative on a farm in Central PA where I sell hand-crafted Primitive, Americana, and Farmhouse Home Decor. Together Mike and I (he's my nuttier half), hand-craft metal art and create custom solutions for unique customer needs.
