My customers are the reason I do this. It’s my dream and I love every minute of helping each and every one of you. I sit and think about how this whole pandemic thing has changed our lives, how we treat each other, how we get treated when we are the customer, and how I can be better to MY customers.
I see that customer service (or at least from what I experience) is really falling out of favor. May be I have high standards but being in business means that there are certain things that you HAVE TO DO…
- You have to ship the ordered item to the customer by a date you promise.
- You have to ship what the customer orders and with the quality that they expect.
- You have to communicate with people even if it is the least amount possible to get the order shipped.
But…
Customer Service to ME is not doing just what you HAVE TO… it is also doing what you DON’T HAVE TO…
- I don’t have to ship that order earlier than the date the customer expects it… but I do… ESPECIALLY AT CHRISTMAS.
- I don’t have to notify a customer that they placed two orders and if they combine them they get free shipping…. but I do…
- I don’t have to refund overages in shipping… but I do…
- I don’t have to follow up and thank my customers for leaving me a nice review… but I do.
I treat my customers the way that I wish other sellers would treat me and many of my customers become like family.
